TROPHY CASE

WOWWW-EE! When we were laying out the floor plan for Hard@Work headquarters here, we allowed for lots of future developments (like a cartoon theater, a cyber frisbie golf course, and a hall of fame for our @aWay Award winners) -- but we didn't think about building a trophy case. Just didn't cross our minds. But as things turned out, a trophy case was the first thing we needed to add to our original design . . . because a whole lot of Hard@Workers talked us up to their friends, got us a bunch of attention in the media -- and the awards started stacking up in our reception area.

Something had to be done. So we htmled this display case together and set it up here, right off the lobby. This gives us a place to show off the "You Done Good" awards that have come our way, and also a place where we can thank each of you for helping to make this web site such a success. We truly believe it's a privilege to be Hard@Work with you. Thanks for being a part of our cyber world.

Best of Year Management Development Resource

Hard@Work has often been named a Site of the Day (or Week or Month). Among others, NetGuide Magazine, Fast Company, USA TODAY Online, The London Business Times, Radio ONE, HR Magazine, and MSNBC have honored us with a hot listing, a review, and a special recommendation. Our thanks to each and every one! When Point (now Lycos) reviewed us, they placed Hard@Work at the top of their Career/Job sites -- ahead of some dang fine competition like Career Mosaic. Thank you, Lycos!

Multimedia Research Group, Inc. ranked Hard@Work among the Top 1% of the Web for 1996. We are proud-proud-proud to be one of the 80 sites world wide to receive this honor. Thanks, MRG!

Training Media Review awarded Hard@Work this distinction for 1996. It also named Hard@Work to its Hall of Fame as one of the best training resources of all time. Thank you, TMR!

In the 1998 edition, CareerXRoads honored Hard@Work as one of its 37 Best of the Best Websites for job, resume, or career management information. Thank you, CareerXRoads!

Paul Siegel established this award to recognize excellence among web sites that influence people in a positive way by helping them learn. Thanks, Paul!

The Rothman Report named Hard@Work one of the top ten web sites of 1996 -- along with The New York Times and some other exalted company. Thank you, TRR!

EZConnect honored Hard@Work in 1997 with its "Best of the Net" distinction in the Job Advice area. Thank you, EZ Team!

None of these awards would ever have come our way if it were not for the inspired work of our original development team. That's why we say THANKS 1,000,000 to Art Director Elizabeth Saveri, HTML wrangler Mitch Mandell, and those rock-solid site administrators at APK.NET way up the trail in the City of Lights, good ol' Cleveland, O-hi-o. Most of all, we salute our co-founder Mark Gozonsky, whose amazing creativity and verbal dexterity gave Hard@Work its original shape and zest back in 1995. Thank you, Mark, wherever you are!
